The Howl of the Demon is a small galley captained by Ephor One-Leg of Sasak. With a good wind behind her she moves 36 miles per day. When 80 men row, she moves 24 miles a day. She measures 130 feet long and 20 feet wide. The lower deck is filled with benches and oars.
The ship can carry 80 crew, 40 passengers plus 150 tons of cargo. Eight rowboats are tied to the top deck.
