This attached to this ordinary silver chain are five silver bells. It produces no ongoing effect and does not interfere with necklaces that do. A bell may be plucked from the chain and hurled up to 70′, producing a fireball (as the spell). The bells are engraved with symbols marking the strength of the fireball. There are five bells of three types: 1x9d6, 2x7d6, 2x5d6. Once a bell is thrown, it is used up, and when all the bells are plucked, the necklace loses all magical properties.
If the wearer fails a saving throw for magical fire damage, the necklace must make a separate saving throw. Failure causes all bells to explode simultaneously.
This necklace was given to Carrasthinian as a gift by Mainaar, once famous for his fire-based magic.
