Anauk

Father Anauk operates the Temple of St. Orlan. He was assigned this duty by Lah after Tienarth’s Raiders defeated the succubus. He remained uncorrupted during the time when Bremlai ruled over St. Orlan and also during the short time when Ithusar brought in the evil mist.

  • He personally distrusts demi-humans but actively suppresses this bias, adhering to the doctrine that the creator bestows absolute love on all creatures with free will.
  • He recognizes the Raiders specifically as effective destroyers of the undead.
  • He oversaw the restoration and rededication of the St. Orlan church.
  • He established a festival to celebrate the first anniversary of the succubus’s banishment.
  • He views the lifting of the vampire’s fog as a “Second Awakening” and a holy alignment with Saint Orlan’s history.
  • He has proposed an annual celebration, Day of the Unshackled Sky:
    ◦ A Parade of the Awoken led by Amalgus and seven elite golems.
    ◦ Seven Stations of Virtue, marking landmark stops throughout the city.
    ◦ Symbolism of the Ash, where citizens cast gray flour into the air to represent the banishment of the mist.
    ◦ Octopus Motif: A military contingent led by Aderian to represent Saint Orlan’s emergence from the ocean.
