This rod is one inch in diameter and six inches long. It operates as a Wand of Trap Detection. The operator must only grip the rod tightly and concentrate to activate it. For the following three turns, a blue beam will extend up to 30 feet to indicate any nearby traps. The rod had 20 charges remaining when found, indicated by glowing characters on the rod that show when active. They may only be read with a read magic spell.
The rod was found in a metal case embedded in ice, down in the tunnels below Doukreg.
